PCGS Fine 15 PPQ.  This is one of the rarest of all Boston banks and a significant issued note, one of three we have observed. The bank is all SENC listed in Haxby. In the past 25 years, a few notes have appeared including an issued $1 note with the Landing of Pilgrims at Plymouth Rock vignette. The note is printed from the New England Bank Note Co./Patent Stereotype Steel Plate and is an exceptional example. At top center is a small vignette of ships at sail flanked by \"2\" counters in circles. At left and right ends are elaborate floral frames. The subject at left is a rather contorted eagle; at right is a statuesque Plenty holding a cornucopia. A superb note and the first we have ever seen. Ex: Eric P.
