PCGS Fine 12 Apparent.  The $1 and $2 notes were not counterfeited and are seen with and without plate (or series) letters. A finely engraved, intaglio type printed by the American Bank Note Co., New-York. At top center is a finely detailed wagon-unloading scene with several workers hoisting boxes and barrels. Upper corners have \"1\" dies, and bottom corners have ornate frames for printed serial numbers. No letter. Signed by Garnier as commissioner. No. 24364. Noted as \"Hole Punch Cancelled\" with star-shaped holes and \"Small Edge Tears.\" A bit soiled, but only one punch hole is in the vignette. Ex: Eric P.
