Pennsylvania April 25, 1759 10 Shillings Fr. PA-98. PCGS Very Fine 25. The B. Franklin and D. Hall imprint notes from this period are difficult to find in the faultless condition this example displays. This is the second-lowest denomination of the issue, probably Rarity 7, and much scarcer than the four higher denominations. The balanced face design has the Penn arms in the center of the text. The side columnar border cuts are very well detailed. There is honest circulation and wear on the horizontal crease, but this plate A note has great paper integrity. Margins are wide on three sides and just a tad close at the top. The back nature print is well detailed and the imprint crystal clear. A handsome example and underrated in this attractive grade.
