NC-154b. PCGS Very Fine 25 Apparent.  The eight different $1/8 denominations are extremely difficult to find in high grades. This Heron faces up quite well and its eye appeal complements the $1/16 Cornucopia previous to this. Sharp vignette details are seen on this quaint example of American folk art. Fully margined, it is ample at the top and right (perhaps the upper right sheet position). The Boyd note in the Ford XV sale of October 2006 (lot 8374), graded \"About Very Fine\" with some splits, realized $1,150. This note, offered nine years later, is superior.
