This note shows deep black printing and is without an imprint. The textual ONE DOLLAR denomination across center is in back-slanting shaded type that gives a three-dimensional effect. A double line border is all around. Obligations, \"in Confederate Notes\" and \"at the Office of G.G. Gregg & Co.,\" are across. The end panel shows an elaborate ONE with type ornaments and border cuts. We have handled two $1 notes, the last from the Bond collection sale in 2007.
