PCGS Fine 15 Apparent.  The $3 denomination is from the first series and printed without an imprint. Similar in style to the $1 note from the issue, ST. LOUIS is shown in the left end panel; the perpendicular written denomination at the right is italicized and has a superscript \"s\" at the end. Within the spare layout are the obligations and titles in center. This faces up as a very strong note, with squared corners and excellent margins for the type. Noted with \"Mounting Remnants on Back,\" which do not affect the face. The type was also not in the 1981 Vacca sale and is a sharp-looking example. Ex: Eric P.
