Paris, MO - Farmers Bank of Missouri, at Paris $10 July 10, 1858 MO-15 G32a SENC. PCGS Very Good 10. A second extremely rare Paris branch issued note obtained from Wismer in 1939. The branch was not in Vacca, and the Newman pairing is the first we have cataloged. All the Paris notes from this series are SENC listings in Haxby. Like the branch payable proofs, this is beautifully engraved by Bald, Cousland & Co. Philada. & New York. The layout, orange tint, and vignettes are the same as on the previous: an energetic cotton-wagon scene is cupped into the title, a portrait of Robert Aull is at the lower left, and his signature as bank president is at the right. Upper corners show dies, and the lower right corner has a full-length portrait of a seated Native American. Plate B. No. 417. Countersigned by Geo. Penn as \"ass't\" commissioner.
