Printed on white paper and lithographed by Louis Buechner of St. Paul. The layout, though simple at first glance, features patterned and shaded backgrounds that give the note a solid appearance. The textual denomination is on the shaded left end. There are tall numerical counters: at the center as a Roman numeral, and at the far right in an ornate configuration. The blank line for the written bearer is in the center. The engraved letter \"A\" is not a plate position, but indicates the denomination as $1. There are \"Repairs\" noted by grading. Ex: Eric P.
