PCGS Fine 15 Apparent.  This is the fourth and final denomination from a remarkable quartet of issued notes in the Newman Collection from this all SENC title. The only other genuine notes from the bank observed are proofs from the 1990 American Bank Note Sale. The title was not represented in the White Oak Collection sold by Stack's, an exceptionally comprehensive offering of the five boroughs collected for decades. This bank merged when National Currency issuing began, and most notes were redeemed. Cherubs use basic machines at top center, and a train vignette is at lower right. The New York Bank Seal is at lower left. The imprint is Danforth, Bald & Co. PCGS cites \"Minor Edge Damage.\" The other three denominations sold in earlier Newman Collection sales each exceeded $1,000 handily. Ex: Eric P.
