At top right, Justice and Industry, constrained by a cartouche, lean toward one another and rest their elbows on a beehive. Classically garbed George Washington is seated at lower left. Martha Washington is at the lower right. A red \"500\" protector is at the bottom. The counterfeiting of this type is unusual since a high-denomination note would be heavily scrutinized.
