A rare, early fractional note unlisted in Haxby and Harris, and possibly unique. According to Harris, a cashier-signed bill. The series is mentioned, but not listed, in Haxby. A bolded 12 ? is at the center, and the white outlined textual denomination is on a dark rectangle at the top. Printed by P. & S. Potter. We have handled only one other from the issuer, the Harris Collection note, a 3 cents note from the same series, which sold for $345 in 2003. Although grading cites an \"Internal Tear at Left\" and a \"Piece Missing at Top Center,\" extremely rare. Ex: Eric P.
