The lighter red lace tint across the note outlines two perpendicular script TEN protectors flanking the vignette. A darker red die is at the bottom center with an outlined protector. A field with farm animals and a mountain vista are in the background of the top center vignette. The young boy pointing seems to be too excited to join his grandfather and the dog in a relaxing moment under the tree. At lower left is a portrait of a young woman holding a dove. Noted as \"Hole Punch Cancelled\" as made. We only know of one other $10 proof, the example that was on the Krause-American Banknote Company Archives sale sheet.
