The Native American father (sometimes included in similar allegorical scenes) is not present, and the shield shows a portrait of Red Jacket, another well-known usage by this imprint. As the mother at left hugs her child, the mother at right schools her children. The buckskin-clad hunter at left loads his rifle. A red protector THREE is at the bottom.
