Proof. PCGS New 62.  The $2 India paper proof mounted on original cardstock from this series is apparently the only known example in private hands. This is another beautiful Toppan, Carpenter & Co. proof from the epic selection of Wisconsin Obsoletes. The wide vignette at the bottom center shows a train traveling west as another traverses a bridge in the background. At the left end, a woman holds a basket of flowers as she glances backwards toward the viewer. The denomination was not in the Krause collection in any format. The plate notes in the reference books, as is most often the case, are from the archived sheet in Madison's Wisconsin Historical Society library. Noted as \"Hole Punch Cancelled\" and \"Mounted on Cardstock\" as made. There is a foxing speck at the far left knocking down the grade a tad.
