This is a second amazing note from the intriguing title. The layout and diagnostics are similar to the 6 ? cents. A wide format note printed by J. Oram, New York. Payable at three locations as noted on the top border: New-York, Albany and Whitehall. The specific merchants are listed in the obligation text across, below the \"37 1/2\" and written denomination. Along the bottom is the clause, \"Receivable on board lake Champlain Steam Boats.\" Oddly, a Rarity-6 in Harris, which is too liberal. Exceedingly rare and important. The condition is superb for such a note, with three wide margins pointing toward this being at the bottom of its sheet array. Bright and boldly signed. A scrip note with War of 1812 naval engagements coursing through its fibers. Ex: Eric P.
