Remainder. PCGS Very Fine 25 Apparent.  This is the key Stake Tithing House scrip series and may be the only example available to the collecting community. The Newman Collection note is now published for the first time to our knowledge. Both Rust and Nyholm use a photo from the Church Archives as their plate note. We believe there are no modern auction records of a note from this issuer. Printed on salmon rag paper by Gast St. Louis & N.Y. The face style is similar to Salt Lake City and St. George notes. Beneath the beginning of the curving title, a beehive with busy bees sits among the flowers. A pattern border is all around. The die in the center shows the textual denomination outlined by the background. The obligation \"Good for Produce, Live Stock, and Merchandise\" is at lower right. The printed back shows an eagle a on rock at the center. Obligations are similar to the other series. Noted as \"Stained\" and with \"Small Edge Tears.\" The staining on the back is severe and shows in a small splotch under the title to the face.
