The color and security devices are superb on this presentation, including deep red dies on the $10 note. The $1 note shares the green-tinted note's vignette of horses at a trough; the $3 note has farmers threshing grain; the $5 displays the same vignette as on the green-tinted note, the Vermont arms (style of the Pennsylvania arms), supported by frisky horses, along with Chief Red Jacket at lower left; and the $10 with three allegorical females representing the arts with the Houdon bust of Washington.
