PCGS Very Fine 25.  This scrip note, engraved by Fairman, Draper, Underwood & Co., illustrates how private issuers would attempt to validate their notes by creating the illusion of a banknote. In this case they wished to present it as a valid note of the State Bank at Camden, but it is a private note payable at 106 Market St., Philadelphia.  Finely engraved and showing Agriculture ensconced in a large \"2\" at top center. Jefferson is at left and Lafayette is at right. Unlisted in Wait and fascinating.
