America, as a Native American princess, holds a cornucopia spilling coins as she reclines amid a number of symbolic items: sword, scales, fasces, safe, capped liberty pole and flags. She leans her elbow on the Stars and Stripes shield. The eagle straddles the shield and the globe with AMERICA inscribed. Numeric counters are in all corners. Sculptural ends show center vignettes in ovals. At left is a Lafayette portrait. Justice with sword and scales is at right. Noted as \"Hole Punch Cancelled\" as made and with \"Repairs.\" The verso repairs match the workmanship of the other proof denominations and they certainly share the same prior pedigree before their care within the Newman Collection.
