A second $500, but this is a five-year bond due on January 1, 1867. Printed on cream paper by John Douglas, who was an engraver and lithographer located at \"10 Camp St. N.O.\" (seen at the base of the vignette). The layout and style are like the last. The common vignette from the series is at the upper right with the Missouri Arms encircled by agricultural and transportation motifs. Titles are to the left and the obligation is underneath. Ends have a corner denomination, Act date, and receivable clause. A red \"$500\" protector is across, and there is an embossed seal. Written date. No. 2358. Countersigned by Confederate General C.[laiborne] F.[ox] Jackson. Complete, with ten signed and numbered $25 coupons underneath. Untrimmed, and wide along the bottom under the coupons.
