PCGS Very Fine 25 Apparent.  This is one of the rarest notes from Fort Smith, and the two denominations listed in Rothert are apparently the Newman notes, but are not plated in the book. The 25 cents from the series realized a resounding $1,175 in Newman Internet 1 on May 4, 2016. This bright note has an ornamental type border all around. The text is simple and bold. Noted is a \"Small Edge Split at Bottom Right.\" Not quite in the magnificent condition of the 25 cents we sold, but bright and well margined. Ex: Eric P.
