Original Series notes only from this exceedingly rare Warrensburg bank, which lasted for only seven years between July of 1871 and July of 1878. The census shows only two examples previously reported, one $1 and one $2, with both quite well circulated. The $1 has been off the market since its last appearance in a 1986 NASCA sale, and the $2 has not appeared in public since we sold it in our April 1999 Central States sale.
