PCGS Fine 15 Apparent.  This is a famous New York City bank title that lasted through many incarnations well into the 20th century. A SENC type showing the imprint of Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson at lower right with the \"ABC\" monogram at the upper right. Clipper ships speed along on a gusty day at top center. A \"1\" counter is to the right. An oval portrait of a woman is between a ONE counter and two winged horses. The left end shows a \"1\" counter at the top and the New York bank seal below. A red ONE protector is across and is partially under the title. Noted as \"Cross-Cut Cancelled\" and with \"Hinge Repaired Cancellation.\" Nearly all known issued notes from the bank are cancelled like this and overall, this is a well above average example.
