PCGS Gem New 65PPQ.  A stellar grade example of this lower denomination type from this lithographed series printed by J. T. Paterson & Co., Augusta, Georgia. The overseer supervising the slaves seen at the top center was copied from Toppan, Carpenter & Co. (most notably seen on Adrian Insurance Company, Michigan). The lower left shows standing Liberty. The lower right has the common face vignette of the tree and map. This is one of the finest we have seen, with most bothered by bent corners or poor trimming.
