PA-158. PCGS Extremely Fine 45PPQ.  The April 3, 1772, 40 shillings has a unique style compared to other denominations from the issue. It is in printed in two colors with the denomination and Penn family arms in red. The denomination as \"S / 40\" is at the lower left within the nature print on the back. Scarce and high-grade notes are difficult to obtain. These are often seen poorly trimmed. This example has full margins and perfect face-to-back registration. The finest looking of the four plate positions from the Newman Collection and the last available. Ex: Eric P.
