PCGS Fine 15 Apparent.  An extremely rare scrip note signed by Robt. Wilson. The ornate typeface used for the county name at top enlivens what would otherwise be a rather plain layout. A single line border is at the top and bottom, and the ends have wavy lines. End panels show \"1-2\" for the fraction, while the denomination at center expresses the fraction traditionally but adds the redundant \"half\" after. Noted with \"Small Edge Tears; Minor Stains.\" There is only one note from the issuer known to us, the Harris Plate Note 3 cents that we have auctioned twice. This is much rarer than the known note and in superior condition. Ex: Eric P.
