NC-165b. PCGS Extremely Fine 40. This is the other $8 vignette type issued, and 10,000 were authorized. Few exist in this lovely grade. The printing is very deep, the border details rich, and the vignette nicely defined. Wide margins are on three sides; it is close at the bottom only. Some period penned endorsements are noted on the blank back of the thick paper used. A perfect companion to the Leopard $8 with which it has been together for decades in this famous Colonial Currency cabinet. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society\n\nRealized $1762.50.
