This is a well-made raised denomination note, though some might argue the \"TEN DOLLARS\" across looks out of character with the rest of the note. Locals in the know were aware the bank did not issue $10 bills. This is an intricate National Bank Note Company imprint type. At top center, Milking Time shows a woman and boy holding open the gate for the cows ready to be milked. Flanking are \"10\" dies. A male portrait is at the lower right, and the New York bank seal is at the lower left. A decorative frame is around the perimeter, and a green guilloche is at the bottom. The corner dies are well placed over the original $1 dies. Ex: Eric P.
