PCGS Very Fine 30 Apparent.  This is the most beautiful Deseret Currency Association type and one of the most striking Western currency designs. Printed on thin blue paper from copper plates bearing the imprint of D. Mackenzie, G.S.L. City. The beautiful plate is signed at the bottom left as \"Drawn by Henry Maiben.\" Under the arced DESERET, a farmer guides the plow being pulled by yoked oxen. A large beehive is below. The end panels show TWO at the top and GOOD ONLY IN THIS TERRITORY at the bottom. The vignette at left shows a Native American hunter with bow and arrow on a plateau. At right, a settler with a gun stands with one foot on the bear he has just killed. The engraved signature of Brigham Young is to the right of the secretary's signature. This is the A series with only $1 and $2 denomination notes. Noted with \"LR Corner Reattached; Small Edge Splits and Tears; Missing UL Corner Tip.\" This note is in way above average condition.
