NC-122-123/121-124. PCGS Extremely Fine 45 Apparent.  The notes from this series are encountered in low grades, but as uncut sheets or any multiples they are extremely rare. We know of only one other, the Boyd Collection example which was classified, perhaps improperly, as a \"half-sheet.\" The serial numbers are 1532-1532/1532-2532; this was the numbering system observed on the Boyd example. Printed uniface on laid paper and fully signed, numbered and ready for issue. The vertical pairs are t?te-b?che in orientation with each other. Wide margins are all around, except at the lower right, which is rounded inward into the 20 shillings. Noted with \"Edge Splits, Tears and Minor Damage; Stains.\" Each note is pen endorsed on the blank back. Not quite as impressive as the Boyd sheet sold in Ford Part VI, October 2005 for $2,990. However, this is a great rarity and one of the few early North Carolina multiples or blocks prior to 1771 known. Ex: Eric P.
