A little girl in fancy dress and wearing a pearl necklace is at left. A three-quarter portrait of Florence Nightingale is at the right. In the left wide panel, light vermillion lace surrounds the vignette. A light vermillion guilloche is at bottom center. The dies flanking the vignette and the upper right counter surround are in a deeper vermillion. Noted as \"Hole Punch Cancelled\" as made and with \"Edge Tears; Hinge Repairs; Mounting Remnants on Back.\" The $1 proof in similar condition from this series in Newman Part VI realized $7,638.
