PCGS Very Fine 25.  This is a rare note from an early Obsolete bank founded in 1792. It is very stylish and interesting. In a perpendicular scene at the left end, two Native Americans observe the opposite shoreline filled with buildings. At top center, flanking a shield from which the arm of Justice with scales rises, are Moneta holding a scroll and Liberty with pole and cap. The base vignette shows a beehive. A bright and vivid note with tremendous eye appeal. Attesting to its rarity, most notes from the bank were redeemed in 1865 when it became the New Haven National Bank. Ex: Eric P.
