PCGS Very Good 10.  This is the first of eight undated denominations of scrip notes from the Institution. The issuer has a section devoted to it in Nyholm. The style suggests the notes were printed in the 1870s and likely used for many years. All are printed in bright pinkish-red with a blue protector. A pattern border is all around (in Nyholm, the second border type illustrated in the figures), the title and obligation are at the center, and the note is signed on the dotted line at the bottom. Signed by W. J. Robbins. The change denominations are scarcer and fully issued. This note has bright color and even wear. Ex: Eric P.
