Silas Wright, whose portrait appears on the left of the note, served as both a Senator and Congressman. He was offered the Vice Presidential place in Martin Van Buren's campaign for the presidency, but declined it and ran instead for Governor of New York. He became the 14th governor of the Empire State. The note has boardwalk margins all around, as well as ideal colors of the inks and paper. It's relatively scarce with just under 125 pieces known.
