A common style of the series has a small framed oval vignette at top center showing ships at sail. Above is MONTGOMERY COUNTY SCRIP, and under, in Gothic lettering, \"The County Treasurer.\" Obligations, denominations, and signatures are along the bottom half. At the left end is perpendicular \"50 CTS.\" Noted only with a \"Small Edge Split at Top Center.\" Very bright and pleasant. Ex: Eric P.
