An attractive, middle-grade Red Seal from this short-lived St. Louis issuer. Secretary of the Treasury Hugh McCulloch is on the face, and the back features Union and Civilization. It has solid paper for the grade, a bold red overprint, and dark printed signatures. Red Seals are available from the title, but this is a scarcer denomination and one of the more pleasing examples we have cataloged. Ex: Eric P.
