PCGS Very Fine 20 Apparent.  This is a colorful and rare Civil War period county note. A round vignette of an eagle with shield is right of center; it is flanked by \"$3\" counters. The left end shows a perpendicular view of a train in an ornate cartouche. The right end shows \"$3 00\" in a cartouche, also perpendicular. A green THREE protector is across. There are only some \"Small Edge Tears\" noted. This is considered a Rarity-7 note (1-5 known). We have sold only one example, graded PMG Very Fine 35, at the 2011 FUN sale for $603.75.
