PCGS Fine 12.  These Fractional scrip notes were printed by the American Bank Note Co. and issued less than six months after the city fell in the spring of 1862. With a written date; eventually replaced with notes with the engraved date on the plate. A ship at sail is featured at top center; at left, two little ones try to protect their grapes from pesky insects (an unofficial title \"Shunning the Bees\" was created by American Bank Note Company marketing in the 1990s); and a sailor is at lower right. Green tint is seen on the upper left counter and the protector guilloche. Ex: Eric P.
