PCGS Very Fine 20 Apparent.  The bank existed only three years and very few notes still exist. The $3 denomination from this bank is SENC and the first we have seen. It is beautifully engraved by the American Bank Note Company. There is quite a mix of imagery on this note. At top center, a wagon train travels through the hilly landscape. At lower left, a veiled woman sits with her hand on a fallen deer as two dogs investigate. At lower right, a dog rescues a child that appears to have fallen from a small sailboat; this vignette is observed on only one other Massachusetts note to our knowledge. Noted only with a \"Hinge Repaired Internal Tear at Center.\" That minor flaw does not affect the bold face appeal and great rarity.  Ex: Eric P.
