This note exhibits the portrait of Union General Phillip Sheridan (1831-88) as engraved by Lorenzo Hatch. In 1884, he became the Commander in Chief of the U.S. Army. The early style green ornate back has exceptional lathe work details and tall lettered TEN across. It is a solid, problem-free example for the grade, with good color and no adverse comments whatsoever. Ex: Eric P.
