PCGS About New 50 Apparent.   This is a listed $10 type with \"bearer\" on the plate engraved by Murray, Draper, Fairman & Co. Similar in style to the $3 and $5 notes, but the vignette has shifted. The Jefferson bust on the riverbank, flanked by merchandise, is at bottom center within the titles and obligation, and JEFFERSON (straight across) is engraved under the pedestal. The end panels are similar with TEN at the left and MISSOURI at the right. Plate A. No. 2336. Signed by L. Bonpart as cashier and Aug. Chouteau as bank president. Endorsed on the back as \"filed Oct. 4, 1821...,\" which shows through at the center. Noted with \"Edge Tears and Damage.\" A very crisp and bright note, but brittleness resulted in some chips off the top edge. The signatures are beautifully formed. Ex: Eric P.
