There are two men, a woman and a horse in this illustration.  The man on the left appears to be Middle-Eastern, wearing multi-patterned desert robes,headpiece, and pointed shoes.  He has a full beard and mustache.  He's leaning toward the woman, and appears surprised.    The horse is in the background behind him.  The woman is seated on the ground, sideways to the viewer, with her feet out before her and her hands behind her, with a piece of rope trailing down.  She's wearing heeled shoes, and a long white dress with short sleeves and a high neck, as in late 1890s/early 1900s style.  Her dark hair is in an updo.  He head is tilted down, and her eyes appear to be closed.  The second man is behind the woman, down on his right knee, reach down behind her back, apparently untying her hands.  He appears to be in a uniform, possible British.  He's wearing leather shoes with leg wraps to the knee, and a medium-colored (possibly khaki) pair of trousers and long-sleeved top.
