PCGS Very Fine 30 Apparent.  A beautifully engraved series with the American Bank Note Co. imprint and using Toppan, Caprener & Co. vignettes. A farrier scene is at the center in a cartouche formed by the title, denomination, and red \"1\" protectors. At left, a farmer holds hay for a horse to nibble. Most notes were redeemed when the title became a National Bank. Noted with \"Edge Splits; Minor Ink Erosion.\" However, this is very scarce and a bright example - one of the finest we have seen.
