PCGS Very Good 8.   A rare issued $5 note from this branch-payable series. Printed from the plates engraved by Bald, Cousland & Co. Philada. & New York, with an added ABC monogram, using a light orange lace tint with a deeper hue outlining the large white FIVE protector. The top corners show \"5\" dies. In the wide vignette cupped into the arced title, Agriculture and a farm scene are at left, and Home Industry and a factory building are at right. In oval frames at the bottom are a boy at left and Washington at right. Plate C. The signatures and serial number are faint (noted by Eric as 729 in his inventory).
