PCGS Very Good 10 Apparent.  The odd denomination notes from North Carolina are popular with collectors, especially the color tinted types from Bald, Cousland & Co. Light orange tint is over most of the face of this well-balanced note. As appropriate for the location, a vignette of ships at sail is at top center above the title. A very large untinted \"6\" protector with a deeper orange outline dominates the center and is over the vignette as well. Grading notes \"Tape Repaired Edge Splits,\" but these are not bothersome.
