Pair of India paper proofs die sunk on cards for central vignettes used on Missouri Obsolete notes. The first is the central vignette on the Farmers Bank of Missouri $1 branch -payable notes printed by the American Bank Note Co., untitled, with a seated slave in a field with other corn harvesters. The second is a titled vignette, Express Wagon, American Bank Note Co. 192 with an intricate wagon-unloading scene. This appears on all the $1 St. Louis City Treasury Warrant notes. Both are Extremely Fine and excellent to match with notes from the issue. Ex: Eric P.
