The mirror image Seated Liberty half dollar obverse vignettes in each corner appear to have been created by actual coins being driven into the wood block plate. This is the same date as the yellow paper Sperry scrip note from the Newman Collection, but the series and paper is a little different. Printed on the back of a white paper bond or draft form (visible floral corner). An agricultural motif is seen at the top center with various agricultural implements. Across the center is an added title THE INDIVIDUAL BANK. Bottom corners show bolded \"50\" counters in small cartouches. Signed by Sperry, and the notes were secured by special deposit at the Bank of Tennessee. The note is quite bright for the technical grade.
