Engraved and printed by Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson using the larger format of the 1837 act notes. Very broadly margined, and it appears to be a single-note sheet. Mercury and seated Commerce are at top center. In the left circle are two industrious cherubs with baby Mercury behind. At the right end is standing Lafayette. The blazing orange back has a tall \"1\" with standing Fame framed within. Flanking are two immense dies. With handling, but bright and new looking. Ex: Eric P.
