A rare Army-type certificate issued near the end of the Revolutionary War. Printed on laid paper with the imprint Philadelphia: Printed by F. Bailey. Small format, 19.0 cm by 9.0 cm. This is unlisted, and would be Anderson-Smythe PA-4A as its size and style are like the listed PA-4. Ornate borders are on three sides, with some of the indent design remaining at the left. Titles and obligations are across. Issued for 2 pounds and 93-1/4 dollars for \"two sheep.\" Heavily endorsed on the verso. Toned, with water staining at the right, but intact.
