PCGS Very Fine 20 Apparent.  A very rare and interesting town name church money note. Similar in size and style to several issues from the area printed by C. R. and G. Webster Albany. The pattern bordering all around uses three different styles. The text is across with the denomination at the top and imprint at the base. The back has the town name and \"Church Money\" enclosed in ornamental brackets; as on the face, ornamental bordering is around the perimeter. Hand signed by DeWitt Peck. This appears to be the DuPont Collection note, obtained at the March 1993 Smythe auction, as it clearly matches the catalog plate. A bold note overall, though noted with \"Splits, Tears and Repairs; Small Hole near Top Center.\" This note is superior to the one example we have sold, a PMG Choice Fine 15, for $747.50 at the 2010 Boston ANA Sale.
